Datastore Browser Problem

Hi,

i have the following problem:

i get this error: "Datastore Browser-->Expected put message. GOT: ERROR" when i try to copy a .vmdk file using the datastore browser in VI 2.5.

It seems as the file is locked in some way, although i took a snapshot of the VM. So the vmdk shouldn't be in use anymore.

The VM is a windows 2000 Server.

When i try exactly the same with a VM that is a windows 2003 Server, there's no problem. i can download all files of the VM from my SAN Storage to the local Disk of the VCS via Datastore Browser.

Why is there a different behaviour between Windows 2000 and Windows 2003 in the VM ?
