Problem with the lookup service on a Windows Server 2012 R2

Hello everyone,

I am having some difficulties to configure my newly installed vCenter Server.

Everything seems to be installed properly, at least I did not have any error message and I am able to login to the vSphere Web Client.

However, I cannot create a DataCenter as the Inventory does not display any Server...

Weird isn't it ?

When I try to access the https://localhost:7444/lookupservice page, a message tells me that the service is not available.

Is there anything else to do here ?

Another weird thing from me, a newby in VMWare environments, is that despite I am loging in as Administrator, it seems I don't have any privilege at all. For example, to see roles, to access licensing, and so on.

How can I parameter a "real" Administrator user ?

Do you think my problem can come from this privilege matter ? And that I don't see any Server in the inventory because my Administrator user does not have the proper rights to display it ?

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

Regards,

Jérémy
