I am working with Auto Deploy this weekend and I am getting this same error when I try to boot my ESXi hosts. I have tried both the standard offline bundle (5.5.0-1331820) and a modified version with an additional network driver (E1001E). In both cases, the failure occurs during the initial load of ESXi.

Fatal error: 10 (Out of resources)
I've looked through other community posts where a similar issue is described, however none of them provide a definitive answer to the issue. The ESXi hosts themselves work fine when the very same image is used to install/boot from USB stick, so I do not believe it to be an issue with the hosts themselves -- instead I believe it is something in the interaction with Auto Deploy. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated, as I would really like to get this environment fully functional in the next few days.
Thank you.
