There are couple of threads online discussing vcsa external access but none goes into details what ports are required and how this can be done.
SSO now redirects to a hostname apparently that has to be resolvable through the open internet, and which is created when vCSA is deployed. - THats fine... thats easy fixable.
The other issue is that this vCSA thing now changed its default port to 443 instead of 9443. That is fine, if you have a dedicated external IP for vSphere.
(BUT) if you have single public IP and behind that IP you run Exchange and other services for example than you can't use 443. There where I am. I can't use 443 and need means of changing the port to 9443.
Does anyone know how to change the default 443 to 9443 and more importantly does anyone know if the SSO redirection will follow port 9443 or will simply go to 443?
(UPDATE) and yet another thing! - only Remote Console is left for accessing the VM's. Theat means some new and additional ports on firewall. The old Launch Console thing required port 7331 and it worked perfectly (okay not perfectly but there was a way to make it work - from OSX only)
A lots of headaches with every single upgrade....... this is becoming pain.
