ESXi hosts are split in DRS cluster

Hi all,

I'm going to explain this as well as I can... In the case that i'm not being very clear, please fell free to ask me more questions.  Here is the scenerio:

1)  I have an IBM H Blade Chassis that has 7 servers in there (ESXi Hosts)

2)  I have set up a DRS cluster with these 7 Hosts

3)  I have VMotion enabled and HA

4)  The issue is that Blades 2,3 and 6 can only ping each other on the VMotion Network and therefore can migrate to eachother

5)  Blades 1,4,5 and 7 can only ping each other and therefore can only VMotion to eachother.

6)  This issue started happening over the weekend one day and when we came back to work on the Monday we realized that 3 hosts weren't communicating on the network properly.

7)  One thing that I noticed is that when I disconnected all the hosts from the DRS cluster and then I connected to them again I realized that all the hosts were able to connect properly to the Cluster but hosts 2,3 and 6 failed on the HA.  When I then Re-Enabled the HA it worked on those 3 hosts.

8)  Due to this issue I've had to remove the DRS cluster feature because the system couldn't migrate the machines to those hosts.

9)  One last thing I noticed was that when I VMotion, the machine that I VMotion loses network connectivity.  i have to go in the Edit settings and disable the NIC and re-enable the NIC

I hope someone can help with this issue

Thank you all,

Antonio.
